. Why Harmony? Harmony exists. Some seers have called it the music of the spheres, or harmony of the spheres. It is said that it is indescribable and unbearable because of the intensity of its beauty and perfection of the all encompassing sensations experienced. It is a very lofty aspiration to have that experience, but the masters and yogis of antiquity have explored and delineated the methods to attain such experience.
How to attain it? Since we are in the physical plane, our first step should be to aspire to find harmony within ourselves and then with the universe. The yoga teachings have a very clear path, extremely simple and effective. Taking a step by step approach allows you to appreciate its effectiveness when your life starts turning for the better as you move closer and closer to a state of harmony.
How to go about it? Our yoga center was the first step. Hatha-yoga classes of asana and pranayama were part of this first step; as harmony developed, the other aspects of living a healthy lifestyle demanded the incorporation of other activities that are now integrated in the School of Life. Similarly, if you start by registering for a yoga class (the FOUNDATION OF YOGA, if you have not done yoga before), you will find that other aspects of the Science of Yoga will become a necessary part of your improved lifestyle. The growth towards harmony, and consequently inner peace, will take place in an effortless and organic manner. Should I register? You are very welcome to visit us and discuss your options. If you have done yoga before you are welcome to try one class and find out if it is something you feel comfortable with. There is no obligation to register unless you are satisfied with what is being offered. |
