As the practice of Yoga advances, the need to maintain a more serious sattwic lifestyle develops, for those who take their spiritual development as the main purpose of their lives; living in community becomes a necessity. It also allows one to be involved in all the other areas of the School of Life. The Ashram gives others the opportunity to experience this lifestyle and learn the basics that can later be practiced at home. It is a small urban ashram, in two individual family dwellings that can accommodate up to ten people, including the guest rooms for short or long stays. It also serves those thinking of moving into a community as a way of testing community life.
