Point System (Numerical)

In order to establish a frame of reference for consumers the classification system was devised using an "ideal farm" as a point of comparison, that means certain conditions are fixed, (that never happens in nature).  In order to allow theoretical qualitative values to be used.  As a result we have a point system that is explained in the introduction and translates as follows:

The farm landscape         5000 points       (5%)

Animal presence            35,000 points     (35%)

Farm fertility                     35,000 points    (35%)

Production                         5,000 points      (5%)

Influence of the farmer  20,000 points    (20%)

Total                                 100,000 points  (100%)

Discretionary points      30,000 points

These points may be used by the selection committee members, considering subjective aspects that can be inferred from the Discretionary Questions, or by direct contact with the farmer
