Nutritional Advisory Board

Founding Principles:

There are so many conflicting recommendations on nutrition that it becomes more and more difficult to know what to eat. The Nutrition Advisory Board of Spiritual Food for the New Millennium states:

• Each human body is unique-there is no universal diet application to everyone.
• Time tested experience has demonstrated that the most nutritious food for our bodies is fresh, whole and properly grown
• Evidence clearly shows that processed foods and foods grown with the use of chemicals (pesticides, fertilizers) are toxic to our bodies and contribute to degenerative diseases.
• The basis of Biodynamic agriculture, with its respect for the dynamic cosmic influences, and the mineral, plant and animal kingdoms, as well as the health of the planet, is ideally suited to provide the safest and most nutritious food available.
• The genetic manipulation of plants may bring about disastrous consequences to human beings and animals; the population should have a choice whether to use this altered food or not.

Introduction to Nutritional Advisory Board:

The nutritional advisory board has been created as part of the "plan of action" of the SFNM project. The generous contribution of the members of the nutritional advisory board will be to provide sound advice on all aspects of nutrition. They will also oversee development of projects to improve the nutritional condition of certain segments of the population (e.g. children), prepare educational material and promote nutritional concepts.
